The Pateros Apple Pie Jamboree has been held for 61 consecutive years and is one of the most anticipated events held here in Pateros, Washington each year during the third weekend of July.
Lodging is limited, so it is a camping venue. You will find a list of RV parks, campgrounds, Hotel/Motels and B&B's on our "Lodging" page.
New Event This Year . . .
For the first time, the 2008 Jamboree will have Dragon Boat Races. This is an exciting event that will be on Saturday of the Jamboree weekend.
Clubs, Organizations, and the general public will be able to participate in this event. Entry fee is $500.00 per team or $25.00 per person. A team can have 21 - 25 members, with a Captain and alternates. Tacoma Dragon Boat Association will provide steersmen and will be furnishing the boats, oars, lifejackets...plus training for teams. and 3 on 3 Basketball is Back!
On Saturday, July 19th, the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is held. This is a favorite event that made its comeback last year and was a lot of fun! There will be slam dunk, 3-point, free-throw and NBA 2 Ball contests. Registration is $60.00/team if paid by July 15th and $85.00/team after that date. This event is open to Adults, High School (grades 9-10 and 11-12), and Youth (grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8). Go to our "Forms" page HERE to download a Registration Form in .pdf format.
